Gotta love a tight Tuesday good deal. We certainly do anyway! The Ritz Cinema just up the road in Randwick is a must to hit up, especially on Tuesday’s when it will set you back just $10. Be sure to check out their website for session times and public health information.

Rugby

In winter, Coogee Oval is home to the Randwick Rugby Union Club and caters for up to 5,000 spectators. After a short COVID-19 break Rugby is back so keep an eye on the fixtures and join the good times Saturday afternoons throughout August.

Scuba Diving

Now’s a great time to learn to Scuba Dive and Pro Dive in Coogee & other Scuba Diving companies offer a range of learn to swim openwater courses for complete beginners. Or if you’re already qualified check out the awesome boat dives and shore dive options just off Coogee.

Exploring

Ivor Rowe Pool

The lovely walk to Maroubra from Coogee regularly gets overshadowed by it’s more well known neighbour – Bondi to Coogee. Especially during these times it’s great to get further away from it with a much more secluded walk along the stunning Sydney coastline. While walking down to Maroubra you can discover Ivor Rowe Pool – a little rock pool which pops up with the tide. On a nice day this is perfect for a dip or grab a great insta shot – but just remember to check the tide times as you don’t want to get washed away.

Hermitage Foreshore Walk

Less than 10km from Coogee is the Hermitage Foreshore Walk; a stunning 1.8km walk along from Rose Bay to Neilson Park. It’s not far, but this relaxing walk was made for lengthy pit stops – picnics, photo ops and great spots for swimming at a number of scenic beaches overlooking the harbour.
