Our mission since we opened our first hostel in 2011 is to create a positive impact in the communities where we’re located. That’s why all of our restaurant and bar team are locals, most of whom grew up in the very destinations you’re visiting! We aim to provide ample training that our team will be able to utilize to further their careers in hospitality, and a higher-than-average salary plus benefits to ensure our staff is taken care of.

Mad Monkey Hostel Pai is located 15 min walk from downtown Pai, a perfect location to enjoy of both, the magic of the city life and the beautiful landscapes and nature.
Driving from Chiang Mai:
At the first set of traffic lights once you enter Pai, turn right. Go straight over the concrete bridge and pass the T-intersection until you reach a big bend in the road. At the end of the bend, there will be a hill going up towards Mae Yen Waterfall. Proceed another 20 meters up the hill and look to your left — you have reached Mad Monkey Pai.
Walking:
If you are looking at AYA or the bus station, go right. Walk (almost) to the end of the road until you see Café d’Tist on your left and a nail salon on your right; turn right. Go to the end of the road and turn left at Buffalo Bar. Walk straight over the bridge and passed the T-intersection around the big bend in the road. At the end of the bend, there will be a hill going up towards Mae Yen Waterfall. Proceed another 20 meters up the hill, on your left — you have reached Mad Monkey Hostel Pai.
Terminal Green:
Looking at Terminal Green, go left to the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, turn left again. Go straight over the concrete bridge and passed the next T-intersection until you get to a big bend in the road. At the end of the bend, there will be a hill going up towards Mae Yen Waterfall. Proceed another 20 meters up the hill, on your left — you have reached Mad Monkey Hostel Pai.
