Mad Monkey Appoints Mark Harris to its Advisory Board
June 17, 2019 Mad Monkey today announces the appointment of Mark Harris as an Advisory Board Member. Mark has over 30 years of international financial experience with both public and private companies. He will assist the Mad Monkey senior management team to manage and fund the company’s continued rapid expansion in South East Asia and beyond. Mark has been Chief Financial Officer at a number of growth companies undertaking funding, sale and IPO transactions totaling well over half a billion dollars. Most recently he spent 4 years as Chief Financial Officer of the rapidly growing, anti-malware company, Malwarebytes, which grew to over $100 million in revenue and raised $50 million from Fidelity during his tenure. At network management software company Nimsoft, Mark oversaw bookings growth of 700% and two funding rounds led by Goldman Sachs and JMI Equity before helping to deliver Nimsoft’s near $400m acquisition by CA Technologies. As Chief Financial Officer of Riversoft Plc., he helped to grow a 16-person start-up to a successful $150m IPO lead by Morgan Stanley. Mad Monkey Adventure Station to Open in Pai Thailand
Mad Monkey Hostels, the leading provider of youth hostel accommodation and travel experiences in South East Asia, today announced that they would be opening a new 100-bed hostel property in Pai, Northern Thailand. Mad Monkey Hostels is now offering over 165,000 annual bed nights in Thailand over its three properties of Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Pai. The deal is a management agreement with MK Properties, a leading property developer in Thailand and will see the opening of a new Mad Monkey Adventure station focused on local tours, experiences and socially responsible activity in the local community.
