Brother Bong Cafe was founded because of a love for coffee by a young Cambodian couple. Bunthoeun and his wife Leang Heng are to thank for this quaint cafe spot, which serves up some of the best iced and hot coffee in town. Be sure to try their:

Cafe & Coworking Space in Siem Reap: Footprint Cafes
Footprint Cafes is a favorited coffee shop amongst digital nomads and expats. This social enterprise was created to help connect the local community with the international tourist industry, and they have certainly succeeded. Their motto ‘People, Planet and Profit,’ shines in everything this cafe does. Adding onto this, they believe in paying their team fair wages, and 100 percent of their net profits are given as grants for educational projects.
So you know that you are doing some good with every visit to this excellent cafe – but what about their menu? Without a doubt, they do not disappoint with any of the food and drink items. Laundromat and Cafe: The Missing Socks Laundry Cafe
If you are running low on clean clothes and need your caffeine fix for the day, but sure to visit The Missing Socks Laundry Cafe. Arguably Siem Reap’s most unique cafe, this coffee shop and restaurant duo is the only one in the city that offers visitors coin laundromat services. Choose one of their caffeinated favorites, including:
- Espressos ($1.50-2)
- Long Blacks ($2-2.50)
- Flat Whites ($3)
- Macchiatos ($2)
Wait only 60 minutes for your laundry to be both washed and dried while you enjoy your coffee or one of their local Khmer dishes. The laundromat is open 24 hours a day should you not have time to frequent this cafe during open hours. It is only $3 per wash for 30 minutes for up to 8 kilograms of clothing. It is also only $1 for every ten minutes you dry your clothes.
In addition to clean clothes, be sure to check out their extensive menu featuring waffles, pasta, Khmer dishes, light bites, desserts, and more. As The Missing Socks Laundry Cafe likes to say, “Wi-Fi and conversations are on the house. We will not be held accountable for any incidents of missing socks!”

Unique Coffee Drinks in Siem Reap: The Little Red Fox Espresso
If you are looking for the most extensive and unique coffee selection in the city, look no further than The Little Red Fox Espresso. This cafe uses the Feel Good Coffee ‘House Blend.’ It’s fair trade, chemical free, and locally made – it doesn’t get much better than that.

Delicious Western and Khmer Food: Common Grounds
Feel like you are making a difference with every cup of coffee you drink at Common Grounds. This restaurant and coffee shop duo opened on January 16, 2008, and has been impressing visitors with its social initiative, food, and drinks ever since.
It was originally opened by Julie Martinez as part of their parent organization, People for Care and Learning (PCL). Their goal is to provide otherwise disadvantaged people the opportunity to get on-the-job training. Some of the employees who started at Common Grounds with zero experience left to go work in some of the top hotels in the country, for example.
In addition, this cafe believes in:

- Scholarships to provide continued education
- Supporting local farmers and artisans

The Source Cafe
Everyone who visits The Source Cafe will likely fall for it. It is located right across the street from Bang Bang, so be sure to visit both on your caffeine exploration of the city.
This quaint cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating available, with green foliage surrounding its small front terrace. The staff here are incredibly friendly and in addition to a great team, all of the menu items and coffees are delicious and affordable. Be sure to get your caffeine fix with the help of their:

Peace Cafe is so much more than its name implies. It is found a bit outside of the city but is certainly worth the drive. The venue’s tables and chairs, many of which are on elevated tables (Khmer-style), are completely surrounded by greenery and fun, hanging decor. In addition to the great atmosphere the aesthetic provides, this cafe is serving up a delicious number of caffeinated beverages. Check out some of its favorited drinks below!

Lastly, this cafe hosts a variety of community events, including yoga classes, Khmer lessons, and even cooking classes.
