Art gallery & creative cafe: ARTillery

Like Vibe Cafe, ARTillery is located in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. While there are menu items with meat in them, this restaurant still boasts of many veg-friendly dishes that will please all those who frequent. Our favorite is certainly the BBQ Jackfruit Tacos ($5.50) featuring a delicious combination of BBQ spiced young jackfruit on tortillas with salsa, avocado, and cashew cheese. Be sure to also treat your tastebuds to their:

  • Sizzling Tofu – ($6.50)
  • The Green Fa-Waffle – ($5)
  • Bangkok Bowl – ($6)

ARTillery also has a Design Bowl, allowing diners to mix and match your favorite ingredients in your DIY, healthy bowl! Pair your meal with a Superfood Smoothie or Cold-Pressed Juice for a perfect meal!

Our favorite plant-based dishes include their:

Faux meat vegetarian restaurant: Master Ruma

Master Ruma is a hole in the wall venue in Russian Market. The vegetarian restaurant is only equipped with six tables and really zero atmosphere, but the delicious food and cheap prices certainly make up for it. The menu kick-starts with snacks starting at $2, featuring spring rolls, fried mushrooms, and pork fry (faux pork fry, of course). The menu then features noodle dishes, rice dishes, curries, stir-fries, and soups. Don’t let the freaky names fool you, as well – the beef bell pepper fry ($2.50) for example, is actually made of soybean!

The best day to visit  Bong Bonlai (which literally translates to friend vegetables) is on Sunday. Every weekend, this restaurant hosts its iconic $1 Plates Brunch on Sunday.
