Mad Monkey Announces New Property in UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang

Mad Monkey Hostels continues to expand in South East Asia with the debut of its new adventure hostel in Luang Prabang, Laos.
The award-winning hostel group further solidifies its leadership position in South East Asia by  adding its first location in Laos to its global experience offerings.
Nestled pristinely in the mountains along the Nam Kanh and Mekong Rivers, the Unesco World Heritage town of Luang Parabang radiates colonial charm amidst sweeping natural beauty. As a growing staple spot on the South East Asian backpacking trail, Laos has been open to tourism since the 1990’s and remains one of the top tourism destinations in South East Asia.

Mad Monkey Luang Prabang, scheduled to open in October 2019, will offer full service travel planning and extensive adventure based tours to local “must-see” spots, such as the Instagram-famous Kuang Si Waterfalls and nearby Pak Ou Caves.

The property boasts a sprawling industrial style entrance bar and café with an adjacent onsite fire pit that will serve up its signature social events and parties. With 8 rooms and 86 beds, stylish accommodation is offered in the choice form of 8 bed or 12 bed dorms or luxury, poolside hilltop dorms with stunning views. The swimming pool area is kitted with a satellite and swim-up bar, with a lounge style terrace to take in the viewpoints overlooking the surrounding lush palm forests.
