Travel Requirements

Travel restrictions for international tourism have been easing significantly in South East Asia throughout the first half of 2022. 73% of Mad Monkey guests surveyed in Cambodia and the Philippines mentioned that their experience traveling across international borders so far has been easier than they expected! Here’s what you need to know for each country.

Australia

Fully vaccinated travelers may enter Australia with tourist visas. Check the requirements of tourist visa applications from your country and ensure you have a recognised proof of vaccination ready to present, a negative PCR test (within 48 hours of departure) or Rapid Antigen Test (within 24 hours of departure). A Digital Passenger Declaration should be filled up before departure. This can be done through browser or app.

Australia’s hospitality and nightlife scene is operating with minimal restrictions, so a great time awaits!

International travellers are only able to arrive through selected ports. Arrival via Denpasar (Bali) is highly encouraged.
