Trek from the bottom of the volcano, spend two nights in a tent on your way up with other adventure-seekers, experience both the crater and the mind-blowing views at the summit for sunrise. Enjoy local food and drinks the entire journey, but be prepared to bring some warm clothes!

Itinerary:
Day 1 : Pick up at Mad Monkey front office at 8:30 AM then Drive to the hotel in Senaru where we spend the night before the trek begins
Day 2 : Breakfast at 6:00 AM before we depart to Sembalun. At 8:00 AM we start trekking up to 1800 metres before we stop for lunch. After a refuel, we then continue to the crater rim at 2639 metres. Here we set up camp for the night.
Day 3 : It's an early start with a wake up call at 2:00 AM. We start trekking at 3:00 AM in order to reach the summit at 3726 metres before 6:00 AM — where we watch the sunrise, before we start descending back to the crater for lunch. From there we continue to lake Segara Anak before we continue to the camp site for the night.
Day 4 : We watch the sun rise before we continue descending the volcano. It takes around five hours to descend back to Senaru village, where transport is waiting to Bangsal, Senggigi or Mataram to continue your adventures.
