OUR MENUOur mission since we opened our first hostel in 2011 is to create a positive impact in the communities where we’re located. That’s why all of our restaurant and bar team are locals, most of whom grew up in the very destinations you’re visiting! We aim to provide ample training that our team will be able to utilize to further their careers in hospitality, and a higher-than-average salary plus benefits to ensure our staff is taken care of.

Sangkat Chaktomuk, Khan Daun
Mad Monkey is centrally located in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh neighbourhood, a popular area full of cafés, restaurants, and bars.
If you’re coming from the airport, there will be taxis waiting right outside the exit; attendants in blue uniforms can arrange one for you. If you prefer a tuk-tuk or a motorickshaw, you’ll have to walk out of the airport to the main road to catch one. Grab, a popular ride-hailing up, is widely used in Cambodia and you can easily order a taxi or a motorickshaw right to the arrivals gate of Phnom Penh airport.
Drivers around Phnom Penh generally know our hostel and you can simply ask to be taken to ‘Mad Monkey’, but please keep in mind we’ve moved to a new location so do give them our new address and ask them to take you to street 242 (“plow pie roy sai pee” in Khmer) in Daun Penh. The closest cross-street is street 63. The prices for rides from the airport are around $10 for a tuk-tuk and $15 for a taxi.
