After riding through the largest valley in Southeast Asia, we roll into Đồng Văn — a festive mountain town tucked up on the Chinese border. Christmas at the edge of Vietnam is apparently a thing now.
Elf t-shirt and Santa hat for everyone, then the BIG Christmas Family Dinner — hog roast, roast chicken, two courses.
Local dancers, fire pit & marshmallows, free flow beer, fireworks over the mountains.
Then: a wholesome Christmas dance-off with the locals in Đồng Văn Square. You've never done Christmas like this. Neither have they.

Trip Details:

• DAY ZERO 
  Hà Giang Xanh - Arrive, unpack, meet the people you'll spend Christmas with. The loop hasn't started — the lore has.
• CHRISTMAS EVE
  Du Già - Worst-jumper pub party, Mariah at full volume, then a secret underground after-party.
• BOXING DAY
  Yên Minh - Santa hat away, back on the road for huge views. One last night together.

  •  This price includes round-trip bus transportation between Hanoi and Ha Giang.
• Meeting Point Instructions:
  For guests who booked their bus ticket through Mad Monkey Hanoi or our website:
   •    Please arrive at the designated pick-up point at Mad Monkey Hanoi by 9:00 AM.
  
• Cancellation Policy (Website/Direct):
  • More than 30 days before departure: 100% refund.
  • 15–30 days before the tour start date: 80% of the total price will be refunded.
  • Within 14 days of the tour start date: No refund will be issued; however, rescheduling may be possible, subject to availability.
  • No-shows: No refund will be provided, and the full amount will be charged.
  • Unused services: No refunds will be given for any unused or missed services, including but not limited to ground transportation, sightseeing, meals, or hotel accommodations. Beer won’t be refunded.

You hereby certify that you are able to provide any insurance coverage for travel insurance, death, injury, damage or medical expenses arising directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, out of or out of any activity or decision not arising out of or not relating to your participation in the Tour.

• Ha Giang Border Permit Visa Fee
  Please note that from 1 June, the Ha Giang provincial authorities require all visitors to obtain a mandatory US$10 (260k VND) Border Permit Visa. This fee is set and collected by the local authorities and is not retained by Mad Monkey. The payment, together with your passport, will be collected during breakfast on Day 1 so we can process the Border Permit Visa before the tour departs.
