After riding through the largest valley in Southeast Asia, we roll into Đồng Văn, a festive mountain town on the Chinese border. Elf t-shirt and Santa hat for everyone, then the BIG Christmas Family Dinner — hog roast, roast chicken, two courses — with local dancers, a fire pit & marshmallows, free-flow beer and fireworks over the mountains. Then a wholesome Christmas dance-off with the locals in Đồng Văn Square.
