Set sail as the sky turns gold and join your mates on this sunset river cruise that brings together strong drinks, glowing lanterns, easy music, and a boat full of backpackers who here for a good time. Drift past Hoi An’s lantern-lit streets, snap the kind of photos people will think you edited, release floating lanterns on the water, and let the buzz and the views do their thing..

Need to know info:
  • Meet at Mad Monkey Hoi An Bar at 3:45 PM, with departure scheduled for 4:00 PM.
  • Includes transportation, 2-hour boat cruise, 5 beers, spirit mixers, or soft drinks (option to buy more), English speaking cruise leader, lantern to release on the water
  • Bring comfortable shoes, cash for personal expenses, clothes that can get wet, raincoat or poncho (just in case!)
  • Before 48 hours: 25% of booking cost will be charged; 24 to 48 hours: 50% of booking cost will be charged; within 24 hours or no show: 100% of booking cost will be charged. Fully refundable if cancelled by Mad Monkey


Itinerary:

  • 4:00 PM : Meet your group at the bar area for a welcome shot before departure
  • 4:00 - 4:15 PM : Depart from the hostel and head to the docks with your group
  • 4:30 - 6:30 PM : Sail down the river, enjoying the vibes, drinks and views. Release a lantern as the sun sets for an iconic Hoi An experience
  • 6:30 PM - Return to the hostel just in time for FREE BEER!!!
