Challenge yourself with an unforgettable trekking experience in Sapa, the beautiful northern mountainous highlands of Vietnam. On the trip, you will pass by an endless panorama of towering mountains, terraced rice paddies and colorful hill tribe villages; stop along the way to discover the unique culture of the Hmong and Red Dao people.
DAY 01 — HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE (L/D)
06:20-06:40 — Pick-up from Mad Monkey Hanoi by sleeper bus, following Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway on the highway, the bus will take you to Sapa. 30 minute bathroom break half way along the route.
12:30 – 13:00 — Arrive at Sapa. Have lunch at the hotel. If you're joining us on the Ha Giang Loop - our most popular experience - after Sapa, you can drop your big bags here.
14:30 — Trek to visit Cat Cat village, one of Sapa's most famous destinations. You'll be able to learn about the customs and habits of ethnic minorities and explore the markets. Visit Cat Cat waterfall and hydroelectric power plant built by the French in the early 20th century during their occupation.
18:30 — Have dinner at the restaurant, free time and explore Sapa Town at night.
DAY 02 — SAPA – TREKKING 9KM TO Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN VILLAGE (B/L)
08:30 — After breakfast at the hotel, the guide will meet you to start trekking to Y Linh Ho village. The group will hike through the rice terraces along Muong Hoa Stream to Lao Chai, the village of Black H’mong minority. Soak in the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son mountain ranges as you pass several tribal villages, including Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to the Black H’mong, Dzao and Dzay minority peoples.
12:30 — Have lunch at Ta Van village and self-explore the local lifestyle.
14:00 — A car will pick you up to transfer back to Sapa.
