The gist.

Get ready for the Siem Reap essentials tour package! Dive into a perfect adventure of all the essentials that Siem Reap has to offer! Feel the pulse of Siem Reap's nightlife on the electrifying Pub Street. It's a carnival of fun – where beats drop, laughter echoes, and the night is always young. Then check out a bucket list moment - watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat the Mad Monkey way. Join us bright and early for our incredible Angkor Wat Temple Tour! Packed full of culture with visits to Siem Reap's most famous religious structures! The photo ops alone are worth the wake-up call. Private, air-conditioned transportation is included! A breakfast box is available for an additional $6. Finally, enjoy watching the sunset and soak up nature in Siem Reap's National Lake, Tonle Sap. See the fascinating way in which the locals live with views of their unique floating villages. We'll make a stop at a local market before hopping onto a large boat to watch the sunset, with a beer in hand! Once back to the hostel, enjoy a delicious traditional Khmer meal with a beer or soft drink of your choice with your fellow travellers.

The plan.

    8:00 PM — Pub Crawl (Monday or Friday)

    Meet at the bar, order your first drink and meet new Monkeys, with free shots on the hour from 8:30 PM. Leave for the bars on Pub Street at 10:30 PM (around 1 hour per bar, starting at a karaoke bar) and return to Mad Monkey at 1:00 AM.

    4:15 AM — Sunrise Angkor Wat (every day)

    Meet in the lobby and leave by minivan at 4:30 AM. After the ticket booth, the guide takes you to the three main temples (Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm) with detailed history along the way. Head back to Mad Monkey at 12:30 PM.

    1:45 PM — Floating Village (every day)

    Meet at the lobby and depart at 2:00 PM (about 1 hour). At 3:00 PM a one-hour boat cruise to the village; at 4:30 PM optional mangrove community boat ($5 extra) or stay at the Je Reap restaurant / crocodile farm; at 5:30 PM sunset on Tonle Sap lake. Back at Mad Monkey at 7:30 PM for a Khmer meal and a drink.
