The gist.

Join us as we venture to the famous turquoise pools of Kuang Si Falls. We'll take a van together, check out the adorable moon bears in their sanctuary, trek to the top of the falls to discover natural infinity pools and lush views, then make our way down to the pools to cool off and relax. Enjoy a refreshing lunch with a private swimming lagoon and a stop at buffalo dairy ice cream bar on the way back.

The plan.

    9:50 AM — Final sign ups for the tour are confirmed and paid

  2. 2

    10:00 AM — Depart Mad Monkey for Kuang Si Waterfall

    Travel via tuk tuk (about 45 minute drive)

  3. 3

    11:00 AM — Arrive at the falls

    Spend a couple hours exploring the area and swimming in the numerous natural pools — don't forget to check out the Bear Rescue Centre near the entrance or challenge yourself to climb to the top viewpoint

  4. 4

    12:30 PM — Head to lunch

    Make your way back to the guide and start heading to lunch where you can enjoy a private swimming lagoon

  5. 5

    2:30 PM — Start heading back to Luang Prabang

    Make a stop at Lao Buffalo Dairy on the way

  6. 6

    3:30 PM — Leave the dairy buffalo bar

    Optional stop to see elephants on the way back to Mad Monkey

  7. 7

    4:15 PM — Arrive back at Mad Monkey
