The gist.

Paddle through Hoi An's hidden waterways and lush coconut forests in a traditional bamboo basket boat! Try your hand at crab fishing like a local, and don't be afraid to get dizzy when the boat starts to spin!

The plan.

    Bicycle ride to the Nipa Palm Forest

    Depart Mad Monkey for a short bicycle ride.

  2. 2

    Bamboo basket boat ride

    Journey down the river with a local guide/fisherman, exploring the mangroves and seeing traditional fishing methods. Try some shrimp and crab fishing and watch a performance on the water by local people.

  3. 3

    Cafe stop and traditional games

    Refreshments at a nearby cafe and traditional games with your guide.

  4. 4

    Ride back or keep exploring

    Ride back to the hostel, or keep the bicycle until 9 PM and explore more of Hoi An.
